Sleepover at Cassidy's

We had a family (minus Chris) sleepover at the Eden's house. It was Evan's first sleepover, and he did great! He balked about 8p and wanted to go home, but stuck it out and fell asleep on the couch. Mommy slept on the opposite couch so that he would not wake up and be scared. And he even slept in! What a great step for our Evan!

Salmon!

Evan ate salmon 2 nights ago! And he tried corn, but didn't like it. Weird kid.

Major kudos

After months of searching every room in the house, and both cars....Meagan found Evan's nintendo DS! We were thisclose to buying a new one on Friday, and Meagan found it in Daddy's car on Friday night. After doing a major happy dance in the partking lot of Denny's, Meagan claimed her $20 reward from Mom and Dad.

Christmas cookies and Holiday hearts

that's the way the holiday starts... I vividly remember this LP playing every Christmas Eve at our home. And here's our Christmas cookies (GF this year, natch).

Goldendoodle Bias

After getting great reviews for their grooming abilities, I finally got in at Sienna Dog Grooming in Magnolia. Only to find out that they refuse to groom Goldendoodles because they're too hard to groom. Puh-lease. Isn't this your job? And who could deny this face?

Snow in Houston

Catching everyone (including the newscasters) off guard; it snowed in Houston tonight. My prediction of school being canceled was wrong, but the roads are a nightmare this morning! I think if the kids hadn't had their hurrication (hurricane vacation) then they probably would have gotten at least a delay this morning.

It sure smells good...

Chris, Chris E, and I were upstairs watching the LSU v. Alabama football game when I decided to come down to the kitchen for more snacks. As soon as I got to the bottom stairs I started smelling baby powder. Hmmmmmmmmmm. And it was getting stronger and stronger as I followed my nose to our bedroom.

And there I found him. Covered in powder and having a ball.
