On June 3rd, David Elementary's 3rd graders held their Regatta boat race at Shadowbend Pool. This is the 3rd graders' annual Field Day and a science project too. The boats are made from gallon milk jugs and duck tapes, lots of duck tape! Meagan's class boat was called the Sea Serpent. Two kids row one length of the pool and then switch off and another pair paddle back. They won one of the races. The kids were hot, tired, and not allowed to swim in the pool! Boooooooo!!!
